I work with Lactation Consultants of America to accept insurance coverage.
Your insurance company may require a copay, depending on your plan. We will help you confirm coverage before your appointment.
Appointment options include Home Visits, Clinic and Telehealth appointments.
An additional travel fee is required for home visits and will be confirmed at the time of booking in writing with the client. Travel fees are not covered by insurance and will be invoiced to you separately through Stripe payments.

Know your rights for lactation care
All insurance plans in the USA are required by law to provide breastfeeding support and supplies.
This includes support during pregnancy with breastfeeding education and care to prepare for lactation. Care continues after you give birth for exclusive nursing, pumping, combo and during the process of weaning or relactation. Breastfeeding supplies include things like breast pumps and accessories. Insurance may cover your consultation fees for home visits, clinic, and Telehealth appointments. In practice, not all insurance companies meet the requirements fully and may limit or deny lactation codes. You can appeal a denial.
If your plan does not provide in-network options, you have the right to seek care from an out-of-network provider.
Make the most of your health insurance. Call your company and ask about your benefits. For more information on your rights as a breastfeeding mom, visit nwlc.org/breastfeeding.
